Detailing a bathroom with a JetSteam steam cleaner by Duplex Cleaning Machines is a far more effective and efficient means compared with the old toothbrush bathroom detailing method.
When detail cleaning a bathroom it is best to start from the highest point of the tiles & grout and work you way down side to side. This is for a couple of reasons. (1) The top of the bathroom is generally cleaner than the bottom and emulsified soiling will run down the wall. (2) It is better to clean in a direction as it saves time and minimises back and forth scrubbing motions.
The best way to clean grout lines is with the high pressure turbo lance tool with a nylon brush attached. Use the high pressure steam jet to emulsify and blast unwanted soiling out of the grout lines. As steam does most of the the turbo lance and brush only need to be lightly moved along the grout lines, so there is no need for heavy scrubbing.
After the grout lines have been cleaned it is good to detail clean the bathroom fitting like taps, drains and show heads as the high pressure turbo lance tool is required for these objects. When cleaning drains the plunger tool can also be fitted to the turbo lance to clean, unblock and disinfect drains.
For cleaning of larger areas of tile surfaces, baths, shower screens and floors; either the triangle swivel or rectangular floor tool are best. When detail cleaning these two tools can be used with the nylon bristles exposed to break through soiling more efficiently.
After all areas have been treated using steam and nylon bristles the triangle swivel or rectangular floor tool can be used with an absorbent cotton or microfibre cloth to further clean and capture grime.
When the above procedures are followed deep detail cleaning a bathroom will take approximately 20-30 minutes depending on size and soiling.
